Free printable AEAS-format practice tests for Year 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12, with Vocabulary, Reading, Writing and answers at the back.
Two free AEAS-format practice tests for Year 4-6, ready to print. Each one has Vocabulary, Reading with full passages, and a Writing task with space to write, plus the answers and a model writing answer at the back.
What's in each test
- Vocabulary: word meanings from a box of five words, words in context with the first letter given, and spelling.
- Reading: the full passages, then multiple choice, true or false and short-answer questions, in the same order as the real test.
- Writing: the task, the minimum word count and lined space to write your answer.
- Answers for every question, and a model writing answer with notes on why it works.
How to get the most from it
- Time each section as in the real test, and work without a dictionary.
- Mark it with the answers at the back, then redo every question you got wrong a few days later.
- For more tests, or to have answers marked and explained for you, use the same tests online.
These are the same tests as Practice 1 and 2 on this site, where they're free to do online with every answer marked instantly.
